1. Weapons Policy: Possession or use of any dangerous weapon — including firearms, explosives, knives, or any object that could cause harm — is strictly prohibited at all Sound Studios locations. Violators will be removed from the property immediately, will not receive a refund, and may be reported to law enforcement.
2. Illegal Substances Policy: Possession or consumption of illegal drugs or substances, with the exception of marijuana, is strictly prohibited at all Sound Studios locations. Violators will be removed immediately and will not receive a refund.
3. Smoking Policy: Cigarette and tobacco smoking is not permitted anywhere inside any of our buildings. Our Times Square, Bushwick, and Park Slope locations permit smoking of other products within the studio room. Our Williamsburg location does not permit smoking of any kind.
4. Respect Policy: Treat your engineer and everyone in the building with respect. Threats of violence, harassment, or verbal abuse will result in immediate removal from the property without a refund.
5. Guest Policy: The maximum number of guests permitted per session varies by location: Park Slope allows up to 6 guests; the Emerald Room at Times Square allows up to 5; all other rooms allow up to 4. Guests in excess of the room limit will be asked to leave. The client is responsible for ensuring all guests comply with studio rules. Any violation by a guest may result in the entire party being removed without a refund.
6. Lateness Policy: Sessions begin and end at their scheduled times. Sound Studios cannot extend or reschedule sessions due to lateness. If 50% of the session time — or 2 hours, whichever is less — passes without client attendance or contact, we reserve the right to cancel the session without a refund. Sound Studios is not responsible for incorrect contact information provided at booking.
7. Payment Policy: Payment is due at the start of the session. Accepted methods: cash, CashApp, Apple Pay, debit, or credit. If payment is not made at the start, the last few minutes of the session will be used to complete payment and deliver your files. Files cannot be sent until payment is received in full. Failure to pay may result in account closure.
8. Arrival & Room Policy: When you arrive, call or text your engineer — they will come let you in. Do not knock on neighboring doors. There is no loitering in hallways, common areas, restrooms, or building entrances. Please remain inside the studio with the door closed for the duration of your session.
9. Building Policy: Nothing in the building should be moved or removed. Please dispose of trash properly and leave the space as you found it. Any damage — accidental or intentional — is grounds for immediate removal without a refund.
10. Recording Consent Policy: By attending a session at Sound Studios, all clients and guests consent to being recorded as part of the session. This includes audio and any video recording made in the course of the session. Sound Studios will not share recordings without direction from the client.
11. Personal Belongings Policy: Sound Studios is not responsible for any personal property that is lost, stolen, or damaged on the premises. Please keep your belongings with you at all times.

Si transcurre el 50% del tiempo de la sesión, o 2 horas (lo que sea menor), sin la presencia ni contacto del cliente, nos reservamos el derecho de cancelar la sesión sin reembolso.
7. Política de Pago: El pago se realiza al inicio de la sesión. Métodos aceptados: efectivo, CashApp, Apple Pay, débito o crédito. Si el pago no se realiza al inicio, los últimos minutos se reservarán para completarlo y entregar sus archivos. Los archivos no podrán enviarse hasta recibir el pago completo. El incumplimiento del pago puede resultar en el cierre de la cuenta.
8. Política de Llegada y Uso del Espacio: Al llegar, llame o envíe un mensaje de texto a su ingeniero; él vendrá a recibirlo. No toque las puertas de los vecinos. No está permitido permanecer en pasillos, áreas comunes, baños o entradas del edificio. Permanezca dentro del estudio con la puerta cerrada durante toda su sesión.
9. Política del Edificio: Nada en el edificio debe moverse ni retirarse. Por favor deseche la basura correctamente y deje el espacio como lo encontró. Cualquier daño, accidental o intencional, es motivo de expulsión inmediata sin reembolso.
10. Política de Consentimiento de Grabación: Al asistir a una sesión en Sound Studios, todos los clientes e invitados dan su consentimiento para ser grabados como parte de la sesión. Sound Studios no compartirá las grabaciones sin instrucciones del cliente.
11. Política de Pertenencias Personales: Sound Studios no se hace responsable por pertenencias personales perdidas, robadas o dañadas en las instalaciones. Por favor mantenga sus pertenencias consigo en todo momento.
